Pro Gardening Tips!
Ever since I could walk, I’ve been drawn to plants. My earliest memories are of running barefoot through my grandmother’s garden, mesmerized by the vibrant colors, rich textures, and intoxicating scents surrounding me. While other kids played video games, I spent my afternoons digging in the soil, fascinated by the magic of growth and transformation.
That love for plants never faded. Instead, it grew into a lifelong passion—one that eventually became my profession.
There’s something deeply rewarding about working with nature, shaping a space into something not only beautiful but also restorative. Gardens have the power to heal, inspire, and bring joy, and I’ve made it my mission to help others experience this magic in their own spaces.
A Life Rooted in Gardening
With over15 years of experience in gardening and landscape design, I’ve worked with homeowners, businesses, and organizations to create breathtaking outdoor spaces. My work is inspired by the belief that every garden should be a reflection of its owner—whether it’s a vibrant, wildlife-friendly oasis, a serene meditation retreat, or a lush edible landscape that brings fresh produce to the table.
I started as a small landscape consultant, offering advice to friends and neighbors. Before I knew it, word spread, and I was designing gardens across the country, collaborating with clients who wanted more than just a yard—they wanted an experience.
Today, my work spans urban rooftops, suburban backyards, sprawling estates, and even community gardens, each project tailored to blend beauty, function, and sustainability.
Gardens as Sanctuaries
One thing I’ve learned over the years is that gardens are more than just decorations. They are sanctuaries—places where people can reconnect with nature, find peace, and even navigate life’s challenges.
Whether it’s recovering from a major life event, seeking creative inspiration, or simply looking for a quiet escape from the daily grind, a well-designed garden can provide comfort, renewal, and purpose.
For me, gardening has always been a constant source of grounding and healing. It’s why I am so passionate about sharing my knowledge with others—helping them create spaces that bring joy and restoration, no matter how big or small.
Designing, Writing, and Teaching
While I spend much of my time designing gardens, I also love writing and teaching about the art of garden design. Over the years, my work has been featured in renowned gardening publications such as Better Homes & Gardens, Garden Design, Fine Gardening, and The New York Times Home & Garden section.
Through my blog, Thrive Garden Creations, I offer gardening tips, design insights, plant recommendations, and behind-the-scenes looks at my latest projects. Whether you’re a beginner looking for simple advice or an experienced gardener seeking fresh inspiration, my blog is a resource for all things green.
Speaking and Workshops
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is teaching others how to design like professionals.
I regularly speak at national garden shows, botanical gardens, and garden clubs across the country, leading hands-on workshops and in-depth design talks. My goal is to empower gardeners with creative ideas, practical knowledge, and the confidence to transform their outdoor spaces.
From small-space solutions to sustainable landscaping techniques, I love sharing my insights and helping people see the potential in their gardens.
